What’s the most valuable bit of sports memorabilia?
Ask Mike asked:
With Barry Bonds about to break Hank Aaron’s record, I’ve been thinking a lot about how much the ball will be worth.
In all of sports history, what physical artifact is worth the most money? Please include sources.
Also, regardless of price, which would you most like to own and why? For the record, I’d take the bat Babe Ruth used to “call his shot.”

What about OJ being held without bail for this sports memorabilia theft?
lilith663 asked:
According to what I read this AM, if found guilty, he could be doing quite a bit of jail time for this. Seems to me, if that happens, divine retribution has come about. What goes around does eventually come around and bite you in the butt. Kind of sad that he would do jail time for stealing stupid sports memorabilia and not for murder, which in my opinion, he did get away with thanks to the police tampering with evidence that if left alone, would have sealed his fate and he’d still be in jail for murder.
What is your opinion?

How does a website like TMZ.com make money off the photos, videos, document, etc. they are first to obtain?
Chupacabra asked:
You often hear on the news that TMZ.com was first to obtain documents, photos or video, etc regarding latest headline news stories. This includes the video of “Kramer” ranting racial slurs at a person in the audience of a comedy club and most recently the audio recording of OJ yelling at the sports dealer who had some of his sports memorabilia. My question is how does a website like TMZ or other similar websites profit from this. Do news stations, newspapers, etc have to pay them each time they play these recordings or show the photos? TMZ in particular seem to be first at obtaining such things and I wonder if they are just well connected or are known to offer a large amount of money to individuals that have coveted news worthy photos, documents, video, etc.

Looking for a shadow box to fit my champagne glasses?
Rebecca Trin asked:
I am making a wedding memory box (shadow box) and I would LOVE to put my Champagne glasses in it.
Most standards boxes wont fit them. I have even looked for sports memorabilia boxes and have found nothing. Does anyone have any ideas or maybe have done this themselves. Other than making it..(i’m not a crafty gal.)
Thanks!

I’m thinking about owning a sports card store but am curious with things like E-bay if it could be successful?
joshotron asked:
It’s always been my dream to own my own sports card and sports memorabilia store. I’m actully a Methodist Minister so I would own it and purchase the inventory but wouldn’t be 100% involved in the day to day operations. I am just curious if in an age of technology and E-bay and other online auctions if it would have a good chance to be successful. I live In New Jersey about 30 miles outside of New York City. But if anyone owns a sports card shop or knows of anyone near them and how they’re doing financially, I would really appriciate it. Thank you.

What do Al Capone and OJ Simpson have in common?
maxman71 asked:
The Feds couldn’t nail Capone for his most egregious crimes. They had to settle for tax evasion, which put him out of commission. The same thing will happen to The Juice. He slithered away from the murder rap, but now they’ll nail him for this crazy sports memorabilia thing. OJ is such an idiot; instead of keeping a low profile, he has been flaunting his ill-obtained freedom and rubbing his continued wealth in the noses of the Law and the Goldmans. Once you make the Law out to be incompetent, you’re on their “List” and they’ll wait for the opportunity to nail you. Looks like they got their chance with OJ, who handed it to them on a silver platter. His arrogant “above the Law” personality ultimately did him in.
